Health is Wealth Post, Walk 100 Steps to Live 100 Years

Picture
Health is Wealth Tip, January 31, 2013, Year of the Snake:

There is an old Chinese saying that "if you walk 100 steps after meals, you will live 100 years".

Digestion is crucial to your life. That is how we receive nutrients into our bodies other than breathing. The healthier your digestion is, the longer you will live.

When you eat, try your best to strengthen your digestion. Eat more warm and cooked foods among other suggestions. The easiest thing to do is take a light walk, just 100 steps, and you will notice a huge improvement in how you digest that food.

I took a photo of the hallway at my clinic, where I walked my 100 steps after lunch!

Have a peaceful day!
